Hangar 9 25% (1.20 size) Cap 232 ARF
Bill's first 25% plane is the Hangar 9 cap, I shamed him into buying it the day after I purchased mine.  He promptly stripped off the Chapman scheme and recovered in Cub Yellow Monokote, the added the Breitling decals from a Sig Cap231EX kit.  This is one pretty airplane, the Monokote is just gorgeous.

Initial Impressions:

*Covering was weak and not well adhered.  Tried to like it for about a week, then stripped it off.
*Replaced included hardware with ball joints and carbon fiber pushrods.
*Initially built with rudder and elevator servos in the tail.  Came out way tail heavy, had to add a pound of steel to the nose.  Flew it a few times and decided to move servos up over the wing, got rid of all the nose weight.  Made a big difference in vertical performance (way better) and landing speed (slower, not as snappy).

Flying Impressions:

*Similar to Bob's 25% Cap.

Bill still does the best landings..here's a typical 3-pointer.

Back to the pits after the final flight of the day, with a nice Arizona sunset behind Camelback mountain.

Any day that ends with the plane in one piece
is a good one!
